Kei kōnei, ka irihikotia ngā rangahau Māori me ngā kaimātai tikanga tangata Māori; ko ngā mahi rangahau mā Māori, nā Māori; ko ngā mahi-ā-te Kaupapa Māori me te mahi-ā-Te Tiriti, e te mea, e te mea. Ko te kaupapa tino nei, kia tautokohia ngā tauira me ngā kairangahau Māori kei roto i te akoranga a tikanga tangata, ā, kia whakanuia ngā kaupapa pai rawa e mahi ana rātou.

This is the introduction to a new initiative, ‘Rangahau Māori Profiles’. Similar to the Graduate Stories blog, this is a space to showcase all of the Māori research that is currently being worked on throughout the country. Shared here will be Māori research, work from Māori anthropologists, Te Tiriti-centred and Kaupapa Māori-based research, and so on. The main purpose of this is to support and uplift Māori students and researchers within anthropology, while also celebrating all of the awesome research being done by them.
