Staff in the Cultural Anthropology programme at Victoria University of Wellington have started an Ethnography Book Shelf on Goodreads. The goal is to read and discuss an ethnography every two months.

The book club, which will discuss the books online and in person at Victoria University, is open to anyone interested in reading ethnographies. The first book is Marama Muru Lanning's Tupuna Awa: People and Politics of the Waikato River.

Check out the book club on Goodreads and our recent interview with Marama about her book.

Happy reading!
